F = Q / e0 ( Note: e0 is to be used if the medium in closed surface is vacuum or atmospheric air, else
the permittivity, e, of the medium has to be used. )
The electric field E in the above equation is the resultant electric field due to all charges whether inside or outside the enclosed surface.
