GAUSS'S THEOREM


“The total electric flux associated with any closed surface is equal to the ratio of the total
electric charge enclosed by the surface to e0.”

F = Q / e( Note:  e0 is to be used if the medium in closed surface is vacuum or atmospheric air, else
the permittivity, e, of the medium has to be used. )

The electric field E in the above equation is the resultant electric field due to all charges whether inside or outside the enclosed surface.
